Welcome to our Preschool!
We are a warm and welcoming classroom-based program located in Regina, SK.
We welcome children ages 2.5–5 into a nurturing small classroom environment where their early learning and development are supported every step of the way.
Our approach blends play, exploration, and age-appropriate learning experiences that help children build confidence and independence.

About Our Preschool
Children are welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment where learning is full of play, creativity, and curiosity. Every day offers opportunities for exploration, hands-on activities, and imaginative art experiences that spark wonder and inspire a love of learning.
Children are encouraged to follow their interests, make choices, and engage with the world at their own pace. Activities are designed to support growth in all areas-while fostering confidence, independence, and joyful discovery.
Outdoor exploration also plays a role in nurturing curiosity, encouraging children to observe, ask questions, and learn from the world around them.

With morning and afternoon sessions available, spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged!
Meet the Teacher
Each day is approached with care, patience, and attentiveness, guiding children with encouragement and support. My goal is to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to explore and learn at their own pace.

Ms. Amy
Owner & Teacher
My name is Amy, and I’m the owner and teacher at Sunny Park Preschool.
I hold a Level 3 Early Childhood Education Diploma and I am certified with a Montessori Early Childhood teaching diploma from NAMC. I also hold certifications for First Aid and CPR training.
I have spent the past 8 years working in the Early Childhood field with children of all ages—though my heart has always belonged to the preschool years. These early stages of growth are full of discovery, creativity, and joy, and I feel so lucky to be part of them.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in child-led learning, play-based exploration, and outdoor education. I encourage independence, self-confidence, and curiosity in every child. I’m especially passionate about nature-based learning—you’ll often find us outside exploring, observing bugs and birds, or using natural materials for creative play and problem-solving.
One of my favorite parts of being a preschool educator is creating engaging, hands-on experiences that help children make sense of the world around them. Whether it's a science experiment, a messy art activity, a pretend play setup, or a walk through the park, I love finding ways to make learning exciting and meaningful.
When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy traveling to new places, cooking, spending time with my husband and our dog, and finding inspiration in everyday life. I love weaving my hobbies into classroom experiences—like trying new recipes during our cooking days or setting up imaginative activities based on places I’ve visited.
This preschool was created to provide a learning environment where children are supported, encouraged, and given room to explore and grow. I wanted to build a space where each child feels seen, heard, and valued, and where families can feel confident knowing their little ones are in a safe, caring, and developmentally thoughtful setting. My goal has always been to offer a calm, welcoming space that helps children build independence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for future learning.
